Mark your calendar and plan to be there for the 4th of July Freedom Run/Walk 5k and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. This run benefits the Kick Cancer for Stephen Foundation which is dedicated to supporting research in an effort to find a cure for childhood cancers, including Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma, and providing age appropriate activities for teenage patients in the hospital. This is a new course on campus.

There will be a pancake breakfast provided by the Cienega X-Country team. The race benefits the X-Country team. T-shirts made by the marketing class on campus. The race will start and finish on the west side of the campus near the pond.

The "Human Stampede" Two Mile Foot Race @ The Tucson Rodeo Parade

Course will be along the Parade route and the race will benefit the Rodeo Parade Museum. There will be no day of race registration. Bib# will be mailed out. T-shirt must be picked up after the race.

Colossal Cave 5k Road Race

Day of race registration and bib number pick up will be from 5:30 - 6:25 a.m. Cars must be in the Park by 6:15 a.m. The gate will be closed for the race. The run will start at La Posta Quemada Ranch

The beauty of the Sonoran Desert and gorgeous mountain ranges will be all around you with views of the stone ramada at the Cave and the City of Tucson to the west. All participants will get free entrance into the Park, t-shirt to pre-registered only , pass for a tour of Colossal Cave and refreshments. Awards will be three deep in all age groups. We hope you come out bring the family and make a day at the Park.

The run will benefit The CCC Museum at Colossal Cave Mountain Park.

Directions to Colossal Cave Mountain Park:

From East 22nd Street, turn south onto scenic Old Spanish Trail and follow it about 17 miles to Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
Or, take I-10 east from Tucson to exit 279 (the Vail/Wentworth exit), turn north, and follow the signs for about 7 miles.
