Come participate in the 9/11 Memorial Run. It will be a morning of reflection and remembrance. You can choose between a 5k and 10k course.
Day of race bib pick-up and registration will begin at 5:30am at Vail Christian Church located at 9455 E Valencia Road.
The race will be run along the bike path loop along Fantasy Island. The 10k course will be USATF Certified. The 10k run will feature awards to first place man and woman overall and age group awards three deep in 5 year age groups. The 5k fun run/walk will feature awards to first man and woman overall and memorial keepsake at finish for all participants. The 5k will start ten minutes before the 10k. The national anthem will be sung prior to the 5k.
This race will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona and Cienega High School DECA Club. There is ample parking at Vail Christian Church where the race will start and finish.
